It's an exciting time at the Rural Secretariat! Armed with the expertise and information gathered from Canadians over the past several years, the Secretariat and Canada's Rural Partnership are ready to take the next step towards practical and concrete results. It should not be a surprise that the starting point for community prosperity is a strong economic base.
Three main objectives will be the focus:
The Rural Secretariat will continue to be a catalyst to improve the tools, resources and services received by rural communities in support of rural competitiveness, innovation and efforts to add value to local amenities.
